Founded in 2021, Shamrock Community Foundation was created to provide access to higher education opportunities for primarily first-generation students and their families by providing college and career planning resources and services, promoting literacy, encouraging family connectedness, and emphasizing the importance of health and wellness throughout various communities.

After working for the Lindsay Unified School District as a Family Resource Director, Stephanie Hronis turned her vision of bringing similar programs to other communities by establishing the foundation.

Shamrock Community Foundation is focused on working with  children, adolescents, and their families by providing resources such as school supplies, reading books, healthy living information by partnering with local hospitals, no-fee college planning services that help students create a brighter future for themselves, and creating opportunities to foster strong family relationships.

Stephanie, along with her husband Kosta Hronis and Board Vice President Monica Avila, helped build the starting blocks of the foundation and set a forward-thinking vision of working alongside families and students to create a successful future. The additional Board Members, Sonia Ramirez, Quintina Sanchez, and Sonia Ponce are equally invested in supporting the foundation by providing opportunities for families, students, and the broader community while aligning with the foundation’s purpose.
